Cool Judgement held up, took keen hold after 4f, progress to go 2nd over 2f out, ridden to lead over 1f out, kept on and in command after
Riverscape tracked leader, led 3f out, ridden and headed over 1f out, one pace
Kyrie Eleison held up, ridden and struggling 3f out, kept on from 2f out to press for 2nd inside final furlong
Mizooka tracked leading pair until ridden and weakened over 2f out
Riqaab raced awkwardly, led to 3f out, soon weakened under pressure
Too free for his own good at the big meeting here last summer, he settled better when breaking his maiden at the course in the autumn. Content to track Riverscape the top weight claimed that rival at the distance and then needed only to be pushed out to hold the rallying runner-up. It would come as no surprise to see him develop into a candidate for the King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot.
Mizooka attracted market support but proved a shade disappointing while Riqaab folded tamely on his return to turf.
