Enforce tracked leaders, closed going easily 2f out, led 1f out, soon in command, ridden out
Lady Gloria joined leader after 3f, disputed until led 2f out, headed and outpaced 1f out
Sweet Lilly held up behind leaders, ridden and not quicken 2f out, kept on final furlong, never able to challenge
Nans Joy raced freely, led, joined after 3f, headed 2f out, weakened final furlong
Chantilly Tiffany dropped in from wide draw and held up, shaken up over 2f out, no impression on leaders after
Folly Lodge always towards rear, ridden over 2f out, no progress
Miss Bootylishes chased leaders, ridden over 3f out, steadily faded under pressure
Rinterval held up in last trio, ridden over 2f out, no progress
Montrachet restless in stalls, started very slowly, latched on to back of group halfway, weakened 2f out
Always travelling much the best, the winner ranged up to Lady Gloria two furlongs out and when let down quickly skipped clear under William Buick, with Lady Gloria keeping on to finish a clear second in front of the disappointing Sweet Lilly.
Enforce, a winning hurdler, had shown promise in two Listed fillies' races last autumn and then changed hands at the December mares' sale. With 100 days in which to campaign her while in foal, trainer Lucy Wadham may look towards the Windsor Forest Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Lady Gloria carried at more or less the same level sheleft off in 2007, with a cracking run in defeat. Winner of a 9f Listed contest in France on her final start last year, she was burdened with a penalty but advertised the fine form of her stable by easily beating off the rest of the field.
Nans Joy is effective in the soft and turned round Kempton form with Chantilly Tiffany, though her attempt to make all never looked like paying off.
Chantilly Tiffany saw her Kempton form boosted by Heaven Sent at Newmarket but ran disappointingly.
