Lord Of The Reins tracked clear leaders in centre, ridden and effort over 1f out, pressed winner inside final furlong, readily held last 75yds
Digital soon outpaced in rear, last 2f out, picked up well from over 1f out, ran on to take 3rd last 50yds
Dazed And Amazed soon off the pace towards rear, ridden over 2f out, kept on one pace, no danger
Malapropism raced near side, never on terms, under pressure and struggling halfway, stayed on final furlong
Cape Royal disputed lead in centre to over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Elhamri soon outpaced, hanging when ridden 2f out, no progress
Stolt disputed lead in centre to over 1f out, weakened rapidly
Woodcote reared badly start, behind until effort into midfield halfway, no progress over 1f out, weakened
Corridor Creeper raced near side, struggling and outpaced after 2f
Lord Of The Reins took some smart all-weather form into this off a career-high mark. From 3lb out of the handicap to boot, he raised his game to post a best ever turf run.
Digital was arguably on a stiffish mark but the veteran finished with great gusto to claim minor money. He shows no signs of deterioration whatsoever.
Malapropism rarely runs badly here and finished on the heels of the principals, while Cape Royal and Stolt paid the price for going off too quickly.
Both Woodcote and Corridor Creeper could never get competetive.
