Esoterica held up, always in rear
Billy Dane held up, always in rear
Red Romeo chased leaders, effort to challenge on outer over 2f out, soon ridden and every chance, driven and weakening when not much room entering final furlong
Il Castagno again made the running on a track that suits trailblazers. He took some passing but might need a little help from the handicapper to go one better.
Cha Cha Cha goes well over this course and distance and ran another mighty race despite finding the ground a little too soft on this occasion.
Stevie Gee was well placed for a long way but ended up running a little lifeless. He's had a few races in quick succession and might need freshening up.
Byron Bay had the cheekpieces left off but didn't run that badly. He's on a decent mark even though his barren spell stretches back over two years.
