Hill Billy Rock tracked leader, effort over 2f out and soon ridden, driven over 1f out, stayed on under pressure inside final furlong to lead near finish
Danzatrice held up in rear, good headway on inner 3f out, switched left and ridden to lead well over 1f out, driven inside final furlong, headed and no extra towards finish
Trance always prominent, ridden along and ran in snatches, ridden and outpaced over 2f out, hard drive, edged right and stayed on final furlong
Forrest Flyer soon led, ridden along over 2f out, driven and headed well over 1f out, edged right and weakened entering final furlong
Flamed Amazement in rear and ran wide bend after 2f, headway over 3f out, ridden over 2f out, driven and kept on same pace approaching funal furlong
Grey Outlook held up in touch, headway over 3f out, soon ridden and beaten over 2f out
Miss Havisham tracked leaders, effort on inner over 3f out, soon ridden along and weakened
Next Flight slowly into stride, soon chasing leaders, ridden along over 4f out and soon weakened
Course specialist Danzatrice, three times a winner here, didn't do a lot wrong although he was edging into the stick under a left-handed drive. She's always worth a second look at her favourite track.
This was a little more encouraging from Trance with he cheekpieces refitted. Slightly better ground would also help.
FlamedAmazement was stepped up in trip for this handicap bow but looks a difficult ride and not one to place the utmost faith in.
