Peninsular War close up, effort 2f out, soon ridden and every chance until one pace inside final furlong

Honimiere chased leaders, ridden along well over 1f out, kept on same pace

Amorachy led, ridden along 2f out, headed and weakened well over 1f out

Glenlini soon outpaced and always in rear

Canclodacancan bumped start, always behind

THIS was probably a decent little race and won by debutant GO NANI GO - the first juvenile runner of the season from a yard that has 70 two-year-olds in training - and he looked a nice type in the paddock. Travelling strongly just in behind the leaders, he did the job nicely despite running green and is a sure-fire improver. How good he will turnout to be remains to be seen but he will get better with experience and on better ground. He will get an extra furlong and is next expected to compete in anovice event somewhere.

Harwalla hit the front one and a half furlongs out and rallied once headed by the winner and stuck on all the way home. He poosibly needs an extra furlong.

Honimiere is likely to be better by a fair bit further so this was a commendable racecourse bow. Never threatening the principals, she kept on nicely.

Amorachy missed the break on his debut but was smartly away this time and led until headed by the runner-up. The ground would have been soft enough for him.
