That remark couldn't be applied to the all-the-way winner BIG SLICK, who fairly scampered away after being challenged two out to follow up a similar success at Catterick. He may make an attempt for the hat-trick at Newcastle on Monday over 6f.
Little Eden, a winner on his debut at Southwell, was making his turf debut and ran on allthe way the line. He should get further.
interesting.
Handsinthemist won in the cheekpieces last autumn but looked a difficult ride on this occasion.
A similar comment could be aimed at Linnet Park, who was travelling best two out but hung and found little when let down. Maybe this came a shade too soon after her decent effort last time.
