Nassar went left start, held up in midfield, headway on outer over 3f out, ran on well final furlong, edged left towards finish, led last strides
Winning Show led, ridden 2f out, stayed on well and looked winner until headed last strides
Recalcitrant chased leader, ridden over 2f out, unable to quicken over 1f out, kept on under pressure last 100yds
Magic Warrior held up in touch, not clear run from 3f out and lost place until 2f out, switched right 2f out, good headway to chase leaders inside final furlong, kept on
Shosolosa steadied start, held up well behind, headway on outer 3f out, ran on well fom over 1f out, not reach leaders
Postmaster steadied start, held up well behind, headway and not clear run over 1f out, switched right inside final furlong, ran on but no chance
Bear Bottom held up in midfield on inner, switched right over 2f out, not much room over 1f out, switched left and ridden 1f out, stayed on, never able to challenge
Mick Is Back held up in midfield, ridden and not quicken over 3f out, plugged on under pressure final furlong, never threatened leaders
Nightstrike steadied and awkward leaving stalls, always in rear, ridden and effort 3f out, well beaten when slightly hampered inside final furlong
Jalamid chased leaders, headway over 3f out, switched inside over 2f out, chased leading pair and ridden 2f out, weakened quickly just over 1f out
Fairy Festival slowly into stride, soon chasing leaders, ridden 4f out, weakened well over 2f out
The Dagger slowly into stride, dropped in behind after start, never on terms, eased inside final furlong
Hey Presto chased leaders, ridden just over 2f out, weakened quickly, eased inside final furlong
Ruwain slowly into stride, soon ridden up to chase leaders until ridden and weakened quickly 3f out, virtually pulled up final furlong, tailed off
Winning Show once again adopted his front-running tactics and but the 3lb he had been raised for a good effort at Brighton 18 days earlier was the difference between defeat and victory. He looked like prevailing a furlong out but the10lb he conceded to the winner was just too much.
Recalcitrant was prominent from the start and kept on well under pressure to suggest he can make his mark in this company and Shosolosa came wide around the outside and kept on well and he should have his say in this grade.
