Martyr held up in touch, edged left 6f out, reminders and lost place over over 5f out, ridden and headway on outer 4f out, chased leaders over 1f out, kept on but never able to challenge
Legislation took keen hold, held up towards rear, hampered and clipped heels over 6f out, ridden and headway on outer over 3f out, hard driven 2f out, keeping on same pace when hung left inside final furlong
Haydens Mark took keen hold, chased leader until over 6f out, stayed chasing leaders, ridden over 2f out, weakened inside final furlong

Malibu Girl steadied start, took keen hold, held up in rear, never dangerous
Sheer Bluff ran well on his handicap bow and only blemish came at the death. He had made the running at a good pace and still held the call inside the final furlong but hung left on the rails in the closing stages and threw away a winning chance. He will go up for this effort but clearly has the ability to win a race or two.
Martyr came under pressure six furlongs out but responded to a wake-up call but was found wanting in the final furlong. He will improve for this first run in over two months and there are more race to be won with him.
Legislation seemed to stumbled after about three furlong and was held up but nevermade that much of an impression on his step up in trip. Haydens Mark was soon chasing the leaders but faded in the closing stages and is probably too high.
