Analyis of the race

The first two pulled well clear in this event and there could be more to come from both with victory going to KEEP DISCOVERING. He had run well in a decent seven-furlong handicap at Newbury last time and was not troubled by the step up in trip as he came through to lead two furlongs out and found extra when the runner-up came at him. He is lightly raced and the sort his trainer excels with and he could well progress further during the season.

Sky Dive had flopped in the mud at Nottingham last time but put up a much better show on his return to the all-weather. He was held up until switched right over two furlongs out and came through to try to get to the leader but was held inside the final furlong. However, this was much more encouraging and return visit is likely to be a winning one.

Swanky Lady was soon chasing the leaders and just kept on. She was slightly disappointing but could do better with the run under her belt and Prince Desire had led until the winner went on but had plenty to do under top weight.
