Luminous Gold tracked leader, led over 2f out, ran on well, comfortably

Little Knickers in rear, reminders and switched right over 1f out, kept on but never near to challenge

Alabama Spirit in rear on outside, ridden over 2f out, no chance from over 1f out

Imperial Decree held up, on outside, never near to challenge

River Gleam led until headed over 2f out, weakened quickly

While River Gleam blazed off into a clear lead, the rest let him go and there was some traffic problems among the challengers.

LUMINOUS GOLD settled second and put the race to bed inside the final two furlongs, winning cosily and while she has run on ground with plenty of cut, connections do not feel she needs soft ground.

Leading Edge settled behind the winner against the stands' rail, up which the other winners had come. She took time to hit top stride and was doing her best work into the final furlong, as she had last time over this extra furlong.

Little Knickers did not look entirely happy on this undulating track but also did not get a clear run from being held up at the back on the stands' rail. When finally out and running, she stayed on well and deserves rating up with the runner-up. This was a good effort under her winner's penalty and she can win more races.
