Maimoona soon tracked leader, shaken up to lead well over 1f out, soon clear
Filemot led until ridden and headed well over 1f out, outpaced by winner, just held on for 2nd
Compton Rose prominent, ridden and kept on final furlong
Doric Lady slowly away, held up, stayed on from over 1f out
Irish Music slowly away, switched right over 1f out, kept on but never on terms
Portrush Storm took keen hold early, chased leaders, switched right halfway, soon beaten
Tantris slowly away, always in rear
Elzain prominent, ridden halfway, soon weakened
Colour Of Money came over to inside from wide draw, always behind
Delerios very slowly away, always struggling in rear
Filemot looks capable of following her strong family winning tradition on the evidence of his belated racecourse debut. She showed good all-round speed and kept on gamely to hold second when challenged without seeing which way the winner went. This half-siter to Angus Newz and En Grisaille should win her maiden.
Doric Lady looks overrated on her current mark as she only just held onto fourth ahead of lesser rated Irish Music, who could not go the early pace but was finishing to effect, suggesting a step back up in trip will suit, although this way of running seems to be her profile over whatever trip.
Delerios was slowly away and looked reluctant to race as he trailed throughout.
