Langs Lash made all, shaken up and drew clear approaching final furlong
Hay Fever slowly out of stalls, soon tracked leader, kept on but outpaced from over 1f out
Sonhador chased leaders, one pace inside final 2f
Lucky Punt in touch, not quicken halfway, stayed on one pace
Multi Tasker prominent on outside, ridden 2f out, weakened final furlong
Astroleo towards rear and always outpaced
Rich Red broke well, soon ridden and behind from halfway
Debbys Boy outpaced and always behind
Tightrope outpaced and soon struggling in rear
LANGS LASH proved far too good for them, hugging the stands' rail and clearing away before the final furlong. She showed natural speed and did not need to be shown the whip which should see her win more races.
Hay Fever confirmed the promise of his debut effort and while he dwelt as the stalls opened again, he showed the benefit of that first effort to soon recover and chase the winner. He was readily left behind into the final furlong but kept on well enough to beat the rest nicely and should soon win a race of this nature.
Lucky Punt, who took a strong grip to post, settled into the race but was badly outpaced before plugging on. He can improve when getting a step up in trip.
Multi Tasker, ahead of Hay Fever on the all-weather last time, was again weak in the finish and on this first turf start failed to run up to his all-weather form.
