Curzon Prince was confirming earlier course placings with Princess Cocoa, who has been running consistently since the start of the year but is in the grip of the handicapper at present.
Boo, who has not won a race since 2005 and has moved stables since last season, was allowed a soft lead and that may have contributed to his good run under top weight, but this was still an encouraging first outing of the season.
