Ten Down with leader until led well over 3f out, ridden clear over 1f out, hung right inside final furlong, all out
Piscean soon outpaced, raced wide, headway halfway, ridden over 1f out, ran on well
The Game went left start, prominent, ridden over 1f out, stayed on same pace final furlong
Another Socket chased leaders, ridden over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Mister Fips led, headed well over 3f out, ridden and not much room halfway, soon edged right, sayed on same pace approaching final furlong
Our Acquaintance mid-division, soon pushed along, headway and hampered halfway, ridden and hung left from over 1f out, no extra final furlong
Storey Hill chased leaders, edged right halfway, ridden over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Ben held up, ridden over 1f out, never dangerous
Joss Stick hampered start, soon outpaced, ridden over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Piscean, who had finished ahead of Ten Down at Kempton last October but was here having his first outing since November, came from well off the pace to finish an excellent second and - on this evidence - has gone the right way from two to three. However, he had a tendency to give ground away at the start as a juvenile and will need to besharper away if he is to realise his potential this season.
