Owed close up, ridden and every chance 2f out, driven and one pace approaching final furlong

Cool Sands in touch, headway on inner over 2f out, ridden well over 1f out, driven and one pace inside final furlong

Music Box Express led, ridden along 3f out, headed 2f out and gradually weakened

Cape Cobra slowly into stride and behind, ridden along and some headway 3f out, no impression final 2f

Mind Alert hampered start, rear and not much room bend over 4f out, never a factor

Soto chased leaders on inner, ridden along well over 2f out and soon weakened

The Fisio went right start, soon ridden along and outpaced, always in rear

Doctor´s Cave raced wide, always in rear

Only a moderate handicap, but VARADOURO, who has dropped down the weights, won it in a manner which suggested that he can hold his own in better company than this.

Cape Of Storms was there with every chance, but no match for the winner. He didbattle on under pressure and is quite consistent.

Owed, winner of the race last season, was always up there and kept on under pressure. He is consistent, but just keeps finding one or two too good.

Cool Sands showed a bit more than last time and he is on a mark off which he is capable of winning if he can find a bit more.

Little went right for Mind Alert and he is better than the bare form he showed here.

Neil Callan reported that Doctor's Cave was never travelling, while Jimmy Fortune reported that Cape Cobra hung left.
