Morinqua made all, came to stands' rail over 2f out, driven out final furlong
Dark Missile held up in mid-division, headway over 2f out, ridden and edged left over 1f out, chased winner inside final furlong, no impression
Sweet Afton mid-division, pushed along over 2f out, ridden and headway over 1f out, kept on one pace inside final furlong
Ripples Maid prominent, ridden when not much room over 1f out, one pace final furlong
Edge Of Gold prominent, pushed along and lost place over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on inside final furlong
Day By Day chased winner until ridden over 1f out, weakened well inside final furlong
Tilly´s Dream held up and behind, ridden over 1f out, no response

Her trainer James Given had also been worried about the sharp track, but the daughter of Cadeaux Genereux proved far too hot for some smartfillies and mares to handle.
The Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock on May 24 is one of the more likely ports of call.
Dark Missile, beaten in a blanket finish to the Abernant Stakes at Newmarket, found the drop back to five furlongs her undoing.She got into a barging match with Ripples Maid at halfway (which did the latter no favours), and though doing her best work at the finish, was always playing for second money.
Ripples Maid failed to recover from the interference, though in reality she was fighting a losing battle at the time. She then ran on for minor money.
Edge Of Gold stepped-up on previous efforts to finish just out of the money and on this evidence has improved.
