Spring Dream always prominent, went 2nd 5f out, challenged over 2f out, ridden and not quicken inside final furlong
Friends Hope held up in rear, headway on inside over 3f out, every chance 2f out, soon ridden, beaten over 1f out
Gamesters Lady led, ridden and headed over 2f out, soon weakened, hung left 1f out
Naughty Thoughts took keen hold, short-lived effort 3f out
Uig chased leader to 5f out, weakened 3f out
Snake Skin held up towards rear, ridden 3f out, soon struggling
The daughter of Act One was bred to enjoy the ground and those who took note collected on a race where warm order Naughty Thoughts disappointed and was one of the first beaten.
Spring Dream looked dangerous when moving up to lead three out. Back at the scene of her last turf success, she was run out of it as the first two forged clear, and is capable of going one better if stepped up in trip.
GamestersLady did as well as might be expected considering she was in better class on her return to turf and would have disliked the going.
Uig was the subject of an oncourse gamble, but soon dropped away after chasing the latter in the early stages.
Snake Skin failed to pick up, on ground that should have played to her strengths.
