Sibo Baggins took keen hold, held up in midfield, ridden and weakened over 3f out, tailed off
Wyeth, who is half-brother to Grandera and George Washington, has been gelded but he is still a big backward sort and could not take advantage of a mark of just 60. There were signs of success around the corner as he was buried in midpack taking a keen hold but plugged on for second when getting the splits late.
Ashwell Rose wasanother to come from a long way back and she had to angle out from being stuck on the inside rail off the home bend. This was a promising seasonal return and the handicapper has left her alone.
