Sir Billy Nick chased leaders, lost place over 2f out, ridden 2f out, weakened final furlong

Flight To Quality led until 3f out, soon weakened, well behind final furlong
There was some reworkingof the form as Yaddree and Mukhber had finished ahead of winner Irish Mayhem in a race apiece last backend. IRISH MAYHEM had come on for his non-staying reappearance effort and deserves plenty of credit for this win as he had to be nudged ahead as the rails gap was closing on him and then tore off a front shoe.
Yadree looked to have nailed him on the line but just failed on the nod. This was a fair first effort of the season against race-fitter rivals and he should go on from this and over slightly further.
Mukhber was disappointing on the fastest ground he has encountered – after helping set the solid gallop he was readily outpaced in the last 2f.
Always Ready looked like taking issue down the midtrack wide of the field into the final 2f but he did not impress in attitude in his first-time blinkers, looking to hang fire rather than have the excuse the handicapper has got his measure.
