Dushstorm held up in 3rd and 4th, ridden over 2f out, kept on to take 2nd on line, always held by winner

Zamboozle steadied start, held up in rear, went 3rd over 4f out, chased winner over 1f out, one pace, lost 2nd on line

Looks The Business took keen hold, soon pressing winner, ridden over 2f out, weakened over 1f out

This was NAWAMEES''S fifth victory in a claimer - and second over course and distance - and he was not hard pressed to win it in a slow time. Out in front dictating a steady pace in a small field is never a bad place to be, and the winner was ultimately able to pass the post with a little bit in hand on his three rivals. Off a big weight, the ten-year-old suggested he may yet be capable of winning outside this grade on the Flat, while connections said that he could revert to hurdles - probably Aintree - next time.

Like the winner, Zamboozle mixes Flat racing with hurdling, and this was a fair effort given his little break. He finished clear ofLooks The Business, who would have been better off in a handicap.
