Alone He Stands held up, headway in 7th 1 1/2f out, 4th 1f out, stayed on strongly final furlong to lead close home
Emily Blake chased leaders, 3rd halfway, improved to lead 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on well, headed close home
Cuilaphuca tracked leaders, 6th halfway, headway to 4th before straight, ridden into 2nd 1 1/2f out, kept on final furlong
Regaleya towards rear, headway on outside to 7th over 1f out, stayed on final furlong
Alhabeeb mid-division, headway to 6th entering straight, ridden 2f out, stayed on to 5th 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Princely Hero chased leaders, 4th halfway, ridden in 3rd 1 1/2f out, kept on, no extra final furlong
Amarama tracked leaders, 7th halfway, headway to 5th entering straight, ridden 2f out, soon no extra, kept on same pace
Satu soon chased leaders, 5th halfway, lost place over 3f out, kept on same pace straight
Smarty Socks slowly into stride, towards rear for most, never a factor
Valamareha never a factor
Linsalata never a factor
Admiral Barry led, ridden and headed 2f out, soon weakened
Takestan chased leaders, 2nd halfway, ridden and weakened before straight
Emily Blake, a dual winner on soft ground last season, is another well suited by ease in the ground. Third on both of her previous starts this season, she raced close to the pace and hit the front 2f out. She kept on quite well and was collared by her stablemate only close home.
Cuilaphuca, winner of a maiden over this trip on heavy ground at Fairyhouse last season, made an encouraging return here. She tracked the leaders and came there with every chance over a furlong out from where she kept on under pressure. She should be capable of winning a handicap, once there is a good ease in the ground.
Alhabeeb, a maiden winner over 1m on heavy ground at Tralee in August having been placed on his three previous starts, made headway from midfield to chase the leaders into the straight. Ridden to try and get in a serious challenge under 2f out, he kept on without quite getting on terms. [TO'H]
