Duke Of Burgundy held up and behind, headway 2f out, hard ridden and ran on well to lead last stride
Sir Mulberry Hawk always prominent, led over 4f out, ridden over 1f out, headed last stride
Rubipresent always prominent, every chance over 2f out, not quicken inside final furlong
Quwetwo held up in touch, lost place 6f out, rallied 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong
Jayne´s Crusader held up in mid-division, headway on inside over 4f out, weakened inside final furlong
Colour Footage held up in mid-division, headway over 8f out, weakened final furlong
Ellen Tilley held up in mid-division, headway 6f out, weakened 1f out
Lets Cast Again took keen hold in touch, weakened inside final furlong
Sparrow Hills always towards rear
Starlight Air held up in mid-division, behind final 6f
Canyouseeme led, headed and not much room when stumbled over 4f out, soon lost place
Penyfan Man held up and behind, pushed along 8f out, some headway over 5f out, weakened 4f out
Persian Tonic always behind
It was therefore a decent performance by DUKE OF BURGUNDY, who was settled well off the pace, but made up a lot of ground in the last 3f to get up close home. Considering he was giving weight away all round, and he came from well off the slow gallop, he could be a fair prospect.
In contrast, Sir Mulberry Hawk had the run of the race, racing in touch, leading over 4f out but just being caught. He's probably a staying sort so would have been suited by a stronger gallop.
Quwetwo was another to shape well. Although he raced in touch, he got outpaced 3f out, but then ran on again and left the impression he'll come on a fair bit for the experience.
Jayne's Crusader improved on his debut run, and Colour Footage wasn't disgraced considering he was forced to race wide.
