Wednesday Country held up in rear, badly hampered 3rd, headway after 9th, ridden after 4 out, challenging when mistake 2 out, led last, ran on
Sarahs Gift held up in mid-division, headway after 9th, outpaced approaching 3 out, rallied approaching 2 out, every chance flat, kept on

Silvergino led to 9th, weakened 4 out
Glimmer Of Light always towards rear
Ravenscar jumped right, always in rear, tailed off from 7th
High Moon held up towards rear, hampered 9th, soon tailed off
Tra Beg held up in mid-division, mistake 3rd, fell 9th
Cleverality fell 1st
Heartofmidlothian ran without tongue strap, held up in touch, mistake 10th, soon weakened, tailed off when pulled up before 3 out
Senior Whim chased leader until approaching 7th, weakened quickly after 9th, soon tailed off, pulled up before 3 out
Victory went to WEDNESDAY COUNTRY, who, unlike most in this contest, was lightly-raced and relatively unexposed. In fact, this was only his third chase run, and he is better than the form as he was quite badly hampered at the first fence, but worked his way into the race, blundered at the second-last, led after the last and ran on well. He'll stay 3m and, having proved he acts on the ground, may well be able to follow up in similar grade.
Sarahs Gift, second in a selling chase on his previous start, is in good heart and ran well enough, keeping on.
The three were clear of Spancil Hill, who had every chance, and Sound Of Cheers, who moved up down the far side, but was beaten going to the third-last and doesn't look the force of old.
