Manadam jumped right, tracked leaders, stayed on to lead approaching last, driven out
Mr Aitch took keen hold in rear, smooth headway to track leaders 8th, led next, headed approaching last, soon beaten
Chernik in rear-division, driven and headway 8th, modest 4th when mistake 2 out, kept on to take 3rd run-in
Poseidon´s Secret led, headed 3 out, weakened between last 2
Almond Court headway to track leaders 6th, lost place approaching 3 out
Little Lily Morgan prominent, lost place 6th, some headway 2 out, no chance
Legend Again in rear, headway under pressure 7th, outpaced next
Country Servant tracked leaders, weakened approaching 3 out
Odd Socks chased leaders to 8th, weakening when mistake next
Lusento in rear, behind from 8th
I´m Gunner Be Fine headway to chase leaders 3rd, lost place approaching 3 out
Emily´s Flora mid-division, lost place after 7th, soon behind, tailed off last when pulled up before 3 out
Mr Aitch was produced to take the race, but the winner outstayed him on ground which may not have been quick enough for him. He looks in good order after his lengthy break and should be able to score this summer.
Poseidon’s Secret, who was allowed to pop away in front, increased the tempo down the back straight, but he was soon put in his place from three out and faded in the closing stages.
The remainder, headed by Almond Court, were well held.
