Green Day Packer chased leaders, 3rd when mistake 3 out, soon outpaced, rallied and upsides last, crowded and kept on, always just held

Just Beware mid-division, headway 4th, soon tracking leaders, challenged 3 out, led between last 2, headed last, rider dropped reins, hung left and stayed on same pace

Falcon´s Tribute tracked leaders, led 5th until between last 2, 4th and one pace when blundered last

Upright Ima held up in rear, stayed on from 3 out, never near leaders

Watch The Wind tracked leaders, faded after 3 out

Silvo mid-division, kept on from 3 out, never a factor

Square Dealer mid-division, lost place 6th

Hapeney in rear, ridden 6th, soon behind

Into Action chased leaders, lost place 6th, soon behind

Etoile D´Or led to 5th, lost place 3 out

Obara D´Avril with leaders, lost place after 5th, behind from 3 out

An ordinary race, though one run at a sound gallop from the off. PAINTED SKY, raised 8lb for his latest Huntingdon win, got well behind in the early stages and still had plenty to do turning out of the back straight. Under the most accomplished of rides, he began to find his stride once in line for home and, jumping to the front at the last, he found enough on the flat to prevail.

Jacqui Kidd, the winner’s rider, reported that her mount was not happy on the rain-softened ground along the back straight.

Falcon’s Tribute produced a decent effort, but she had done plenty of running and had nothing in reserve when she was overhauled between the last two flights.

Upright Ima, who carries plenty of condition, was returning from a short break.
