TIME FOR RUPERT has the right breeding to go on from here when facing further and hurdles so connections have very right to dream about the future. He kept on well when challenged on his first taste of racecourse duty and was going away in the end at a course that would have been as sharp as he really wants.

Acordeon, also having his first run, did not get the clearest of runs in the closing stages as the winner crossed him but it made no difference to the result. He should derive considerable benefit for this as he showed greenness in the race itself as he ran rather wide on the home turn.

Lady Yang plugged on at the one pace up the straight and her future probably lies in the mares only division.
