Alvino held up, not much room 3rd, headway 5th, went 2nd and closed approaching 4 out, led 3 out, clear from 2 out, ran on well, eased close home
Young Tot led, ridden to draw clear briefly approaching 4 out, headed 3 out, no chance with winner from 2 out
Twenty Degrees held up, not much room 3rd, headway 5th, mistake 6th, chased leader 11th, lost 2nd approaching 4 out, plugged on at one pace from 2 out
Lowlander chased leaders until weakened after 13th
Bell Rock jumped right, chased leaders, lost place 5th, toiling final circuit
Super Nomad chased leader to 11th, weakened 13th
Winds Supreme behind, detached from 7th, tailed off when pulled up before 4 out

ALVINO did not take to the hurly and burly of Aintree last time but was much more at home back right-handed as he simply came home in his own time and proved head and shoulders above the opposition.
