Gavroche Gaugain held up, driven along halfway, kept on from 2f out, never reached leaders
Carndonagh tracked leaders until ridden and weakened from 4f out

Heart O' The West looks a thorough stayer, because he was outpaced 4f out, but ran on well to take second from Carrickboy, who ran a sound race, in touch, but not quickening from 3f out. Pontop ran creditablyto be a staying-on fourth, and he looks the sort who should progress.
Weather Front probably ran up to his previous form, andafter racing in touch, Carndonagh faded in the straight.
