Skipping Chapel chased leaders, driven 3 out, weakened approaching next

One Black Cat midfield, headway and in touch 3 out, ridden and weakened before next

Hidden Commotion held up, headway and in touch approaching 3 out, driven and weakened before next

Billsgrey towards rear, driven and outpaced halfway, never on terms

Hickory Lane behind, ridden and outpaced 4 out, no chance when hit 2 out

Braddock Island chased leaders, driven 3 out, soon weakened

Barra Lad behind, struggling after 4th, never on terms

Spartacus Bay chased leaders until weakened before 2 out, virtually pulled up run-in

Vulcan Pilot in touch to 4th, soon struggling, tailed off

The ground was changed to good to soft, soft in places, though this was run in a similar time to the first race on Thursday.

This was a weakish event, and CLASSIC MOON, who had the best form on offer after his third at Downpatrick last time, scored in fine style. He was always going well, and after moving up on the bridle going to the second last, ran on to win eased down.

Justtheoneforyou, who looks a real chasing sort, made the running and though he kept on to finish second, he hung left under the whip after the last hampering Dancing Mist and their placings were reversed.
