LE BEAU BAI had been tried over a variety of distances without success since his bumper wins but came good here as he rallied back to the front. As the race was run at a false pace there might be a question mark over the form, but horses from this yard tend to go forwards after wins so that may be the case here.
Rawdon actually got his head in front but somehow got out of winning again and he might be one of those who always finds a way out of winning.
Dancewiththedevil was beaten in selling company last time and is due to go up a couple of pounds from the weekend and is another who might be found an opening.
Marker proved a disappointment on the Flat but keeps showing glimpses of ability overhurdles and is with the right trainer to be found a little contest.
King’s Head again disappointed after being supported and the ground was surely against him as he has stamina limitations.
