ASTRACT ART had disappointed when making the running on his previous start but did much better with more patient riding tactics here, and was value for more than his winning margin as he was slightly squeezed for room going to two out, and having led at that flight he was well in command when he made a bad mistake at the last. He impressed with the amount he had left in the tank to overcome his shortage of room, and the way he settled things in a matter of strides after two out suggets he has the makings of a fairly useful hurdler.
Iron Hague had shown ability in Ireland and clearly benefited from his first run in Britain as he ran as good deal better here, leading five out until two out and coming well clear of the rest.
Bumper winner Danny Zuko showed a little more than on his hurdling debut and may progress again.
