Galathea held up towards rear, headway approaching 7th, weakened 2 out

Runaround Sue with leader, led 6th to 7th, weakened 3 out

Molly O´Malley held up in mid-division, ridden and headway approaching 3 out, weakened approaching 2 out

Lina Gram never near leaders

Play With Fire prominent, bumped 1st, weakened 5th

Sparkling Brook held up and behind, headway on outside approaching 6th, weakened approaching 3 out

Nefertari led until after 1st, prominent until ridden and weakened approaching 3 out

Lucy´s Turn held up in mid-division, reminder after 4th, headway approaching 5th, weakened 7th

These mares' novice hurdles are seldom any great shakes and this did not appear to be an exception. CELTIC HEATHER seems to be getting her act together as there was alot to like about the way she went about her business here albeit in moderate affair.She is likely to be kept going now until the ground gets too firm and she might be up to defying a penalty on this evidence.

Friends Of Tina did not do too badly on her first taste of hurdles action and as long as she repeats the dose there is noneed why she cannot go one better.

Galathea has been placed in a point so it's fair to say she might want fences in the longer term.

Runaround Sue has shown glimpses of some ability in the past-both here and in Ireland-so there might be a bit more to come on faster ground.
