Nudge And Nurdle held up, went left 5th, headway 4 out, led and hit 2 out, hung right run-in, held on well
Fleet Street held up, ridden and outpaced after 4 out, kept on well from last, just held
The Whisperer chased leaders, mistake 6th, every chance 3 out to run-in, kept on same pace
Love That Benny took keen hold, chased leaders, effort 3 out, one pace next
Sharp Reply with leader, led 10th, blundered and headed 2 out, weakened run-in
Flying Falcon took keen hold, chased leaders, blundered 13th, hit next, soon beaten
Allborn Lad led to 10th, close up to 4 out, soon lost touch
NUDGE AND NURDLE got behind after jumping badly left at the fifth, but made ground from four out, survived a mistake twoout, but led at the last, and although he hung right, he ran on and held on well. He's had a good season, and is the sort who should do well in handicaps next term.
Fleet Street, stepping up to this trip for the first time, was quite keen and was held up, but though he looked beaten four out when only fifth and ridden, he stayed on really well from the second-last and only just failed. Although this wasn't a true test due to the slow early pace, he certainly seemed to get the trip well, in fact he ran as though he needed it, so as he's unexposed over three miles he may well improve next term.
Sharp Reply had the run of the race, but wasn't disgraced in fifth, but Flying Falcon was disappointing, though he raced too keenly, made mistakes and was beaten a long way out. This wasn't his form.
