POSSOL easily set the standard here on what he had shown this spring, as his third in the Jewson Handicap at Cheltenham last month was a lot better than his rivals had achieved. However, he struggled to win in the end and his rider put that down to there being no pace and having to cut out most of his own work. On the face of it, this was a short as he really needs and he is obviously better suited by further.
Tramantano won on his chasing debut but has not built on that ,and he looks better fresh.
Swift Sailor could be worth a look in a handicap as he was up against here at the weights.
Muhtenbar simply proved too keen for his own good and did not get home.
