Egermyster in touch, went prominent 6th, weakened next

Minster Lake in touch, outpaced 5th, soon lost place

Ormus took keen hold in rear, some headway 7th, soon weakened

Councillor Jack led, took keen hold, headed 3 out, weakened quickly approaching next

A decent pace on and three in line between the last two included MIRAGE DORE, who stayed on well to get the better of Mill Side.

The winner settles nicely and has gone from strength to strength since more patient tactics were applied. A strong gallop and 2m4f seem the perfect mix for him.

Mill Side was brought back in trip after scoring over 3m at Newcastle last time and this was another solid effort. In front three out, he was headed at the next and stuck on well up the hill.

Councillor Jack made all in two previous starts in selling and pointing company, but he raced too keenly for his own good on this occasion.
