Or D'Oudairies was a bit keen early, but settled after a couple of flights, and although clear at the last, he was reeled in by the winner. This was an improvement on his previous starts, and as he is beginning to settle better, he should find a race.
Winning pointer Lockstown wasn't disgraced on his first run over hurdles.
