Aphrodisia held up in touch, led over 2f out, driven clear over 1f out, comfortably
Megalala held up in midfield, headway 2f out, ridden to chase winner just over 1f out, no impression
Tuscan Treaty dwelt, held up in rear, good headway on outside to chase leaders 3f out, ridden and one pace final 2f

Fairly Honest disputed lead until over 4f out, weakened over 2f out
The Grey One held up towards rear, headway over 3f out, weakened over 2f out
Running Supreme steadied start, pulled hard in rear, headway into midfield after 3f, weakened 4f out, behind when lost action and eased over 2f out
Sagunt disputed lead, led over 4f out until weakened rapidly 3f out, soon behind, eased when no chance final 2f
Djalalabad always behind, eased when no chance final 2f
Megalala is fully exposed and looked plenty high enough in the handicap for this return to turf after a good all-weather winter. Back down in trip on ground drying out against him, he gamely plugged on for a good second despite wanting to edge left under pressure.
Earl Kraul continues to struggle of his higher mark since his January win and has not quite run to previous form with the runner-up, although as usual edging closer when it was all over after being outpaced as the winner kicked clear. Earl Kraul was reported to have finished lame. Running Supreme was reported to have run too freely.
