Punching held up in midfield, headway inside final 2f, driven to lead inside final furlong
Kyllachy Storm prominent, led over 2f out until inside final furlong, kept on same pace
Night Prospector held up in rear of midfield, hard ridden and headway over 1f out, ran on to take 3rd inside final furlong, nearly reached 2nd
Rann Na Cille chased leaders, effort when slightly short of room over 1f out, one pace
Goodwood Spirit behind, shaken up and and stayed on final 2f, never nearer
Cleveland tracked leaders on rail, not clear run over 2f out, tried to squeeze through but eventually no room and snatched up over 1f out, not recover
Scarlett Heart steadied start, soon chasing leaders on outside, hard ridden and no extra over 1f out
Monashee Brave led until over 2f out, not much room and weakened over 1f ut
Mulberry Lad behind, moderate effort in centre 2f out, not pace to challenge
Calloff The Search steadied start, always towards rear, hard ridden and no danger final 2f
Convince behind, ridden 3f out, modest headway in rear of midfield when not clear run 1f out, not trouble leaders
Boot Strap Bill in touch, outpaced halfway, soon lost place
PUNCHING took full advantage, although he had to weave through before finishing far too resolutely against the inside rail for both Kyllachy Storm and Night Prospector as they came clear of the pack. He has disappointed connections under similar tasks on the all-weather recently but grabbed the ground well here.
Night Prospector remains a moody performer and, while he has won twice over 6f, the minimum trip has looked his best and his run flattened out in the final100yds.
Rann Na Cille gives the form a solid look as he dropped back into this grade after reasonable efforts since his selling win. He was a shade tight for room over a furlong out but could only plug on at the one pace.
