Jabal Tariq made all, quickened clear over 2f out, eased inside final furlong
Wells Lyrical prominent, effort 3f out, chased winner over 1f out, kept on, no impression
Pondapie midfield, shaken up 3f out, kept on final 2f, nearest finish
Maha Dubai pressed winner, ridden and hung right over 2f out, no extra and lost 2nd over 1f out
River Kent took keen hold, prominent until ridden and weakened from 3f out
Greyfriarsblessing slowly into stride, hampered after 4f, shaken up 3f out, never dangerous
Plenilune towards rear, driven 3f out, soon beaten
Waarid midfield, hampered after 4f, soon struggling
Royal Avenue went left start, hampered after 4f, never dangerous
Victorias took keen hold, held up, hampered after 4f, soon no danger
Jontobel took keen hold, in touch, fell after 4f
Wells Lyrical could never get in a serious blow at the winner, but he kept on well and another quarter mile should suit. He will be handicapped now.
And so will Pondapipe, who was another who kept on without looking likely to strike a winning blow. A longer trip should suit him too.
Maha Dubai gave chase to the winner up the straight but she was shaken off, then proved one paced. It will be a surprise if she does not prove better than this.
Jontobel fell about six furlongs out after clipping the heels of Waarid, who then never got into it and his run can be ignored.
Royal Avenue, Greyfriarsblessing, and Victorias were also affected in the ssame incident and were never able to make their presence felt.
