Highland Legacy held up in touch, checked over 5f out, headway to lead 3f out, clear when edged right over 1f out, eased towards finish
Bogside Theatre prominent, edged left over 5f out, headway to lead briefly over 3f out, kept on from 2f out, no chance with winner
Sphinx chased leaders, effort and every chance over 3f out, one pace final 2f
Dr Sharp close up, not much room and outpaced 4f out, no impression final 2f
Numero Due behind, pushed along 4f out, never reached leaders
Sadler´s Kingdom held up, ridden and edged right over 2f out, never on terms
Thewhirlingdervish held up, ridden 4f out, never dangerous
Oddsmaker led to over 3f out, soon weakened
Philanthropy close up, carried left over 5f out, soon lost place, tailed off
Bogside Theatre was flattered by his official proximity to the winner, but it was a fair effort and it will be interesting to see if he is dropped back a little intrip now.
Dr Sharp ran as he may just have needed it, so there will be better to come while Numero Due, who had last season off was having his second run of the term and may need a bit more time to get back to his best.
Oddsmaker is better than this bare form and is more effective over shorter trips. He is not one to write off.
