Always Brave has been raised 6lb for a recent success at Thirsk and was keen early and was allowed to go on in the lead. He settled a little better after a couple of furlongs but was readily put in his place by the winner and may be just too high now.
Benedetto was another keen early who was unable to build on a couple of reasonable efforts on the all-weather and Caltire is another exposed sort who ran well enough here to suggest the form isn't worth tuppence.
