Swinbrook was held up just off the pace towards the stands side' and came through nicely to lead insidethe final furlong but could not repel the renewed effort of the winner. He appears found some consistency of late and could soon make amends in a similar event.
Cornus had lost his action last time but put in a sound effort and kept on strongly towards the finish after being held up. He is effective at this trip but the return to seven furlongs may prove more beneficial and he looks poised for an early strike at this level too.
Tudor Prince tracked the leaders and was staying on at the same pace when hampered near the finish but ran well enough and Rainbow Mirage ran well enough on his first outing since November and can improve with this run under his belt.
