Arthur´s Edge made all, ridden over 1f out, stayed on gamely
Chief Exec slowly into stride and hampered start, held up, headway over 2f out, ridden and every chance inside final furlong, not quicken towards finish
Playtotheaudience held up, headway halfway, ridden and hung left from over 1f out, ran on
Hessian always prominent, chased winner over 2f out, soon ridden, stayed on
Parkview Love held up, headway over 2f out, soon ridden, stayed on
Blue Charm prominent, lost place over 4f out, never dangerous after
H Harrison chased leaders, ridden halfway, weakened over 2f out
Arturius dwelt, headway to chase winner over 5f out, ridden halfway, weakened over 2f out
ARTHUR'S EDGE came here bang in form, having not finished out of the frame in his previous five starts, but that meant he lined up off a career high mark as he took another drop back in trip. None of that mattered though, as he proved to be a cut above his rivals. He made all the running, showing good spirit to see off the late challenge of the runner-up. With conditions to suit, he is clearly a force to be reckoned with.
Chief Exec was noted travelling well a long way from home. He made smooth headway up the rails, but looked to duck the issue when the race was there for the taking.
Playtotheaudience, racing from 1lb out of the handicap, made headway to put himself in contention over two furlongs from home. This switch back to Polytrack was to his liking and he continues in good heart.
