This was a big improvement on her seasonal bow and, on this evidence, she can win again.
Collette's Choice made a thoroughly satisfactory reappearance, coming out second-best on ground that wouldn't have been quick enough for her.
Turn Of Phrase, having his second outing inside a week, ran a more encouraging race, while Trans Sonic, having set a brisk pace, failed to get home.
Vincenzio, lightly-raced, struck the front over 2f out but didn't last long and dropped right out in the closing stages.
Robert Winston reported that Hernando's Boy felt distressed.
