Rhapsilian held up in rear, rapid headway on inside from 2f out, ran on strongly inside final furlong to take 2nd final 75yds but always held by winner
Gleaming Spirit led, ridden 2f out, stayed on until headed final 100yds, weakened near finish
Is It Time in touch, ridden over 2f out, stayed on under pressure final furlong but not pace to be competitive
Farefield Lodge towards rear, ridden over 2f out, hanging right but stayed on from over 1f out, never in contention
Interactive took keen hold, chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, weakened inside final furlong

VINTAGE has a progressive profile and, as connections were worried he might be just one gallop short, this win could be better than the bare form, especially as he was conceding race-fitness to most of these.
Rhapsilian, another coming off a break, was settled at the back and hugged the inside line, which has not always been the best tactic here. She made rapid headway early in the straight and was closing at the line. This was a better race than she has been contesting before her break, suggesting she is another 4yo going forward.
Is It Time gives the form a solid look, although the handicapper might just have her measure now.
Lindbergh looked a big danger halfway up the straight but his run flattened out, suggesting he might be better back at 5f.
