Ready To Rocknroll soon mid-division, took closer order from after halfway, ridden to go moderate 2nd over 1f out, soon no impression, kept on same pace
Gracious Girl towards rear, ridden to go moderate 3rd over 1f out, soon no impression, kept on same pace
The Hillaries towards rear, kept on without threatening under pressure from under 2f out
Dedo towards rear, headway into 4th under pressure 1f out, soon no impression, kept on same pace
Miss Red Eye prominent, lost place from 2f out, no impression under pressure from over 1f out
Chevalier Country soon trailing in rear and pushed along, no danger and kept on same pace from under 2f out
Bravely Fought chased leaders, improved to challenge and dispute lead briefly 2f out, soon headed and no extra
Lady Nova soon led, headed under 3f out, weakened from under 2f out
Bunsen Burner tracked leaders, led briefly under 3f out, weakened from over 1f out
Ready To Rocknroll had shown signs of ability on a couple of occasions last year and while he has yet to win he should get his turn following a satisfactory return here. He began to close after half-way and kept on without causing the winner any real problems having gone second over 1f out.
Gracious Girl, placed a couple of times last year and again when third over 5f at Wolverhampton last month, was going back up in trip here. She made progress from behind over 2f out and kept on from over 1f out without ever posing a serious threat.
Dedo, twice successful over 6f on testing ground last year, was held up but after making a forward move 2f out, he was soon ridden and beaten.
Bravely Fought, making his handicap debut following a 1m win in first-time blinkers at Dundalk last month, tracked leaders and moved up to try to challenge for the lead 2f out only for his effort to prove short-lived. [TO’H]
