Cool Tarifa chased leaders, improved to dispute lead 1f out, led under pressure over 100yds out, stayed on well
Comadoir tracked leaders, ridden to challenge and dispute lead 1f out, headed and kept on same pace from over 100yds out
Dreams Forever tracked leaders, disputed lead under pressure 1f out, dropped to 3rd and kept on same pace from over 100yds out
Vilasol dwelt, soon pushed along towards rear, went moderate 4th and kept on same pace from 1f out
Ah Joe close up, led halfway, headed over 1f out where dropped to 5th and no extra
Midsummer Bond led and disputed, ridden halfway, soon headed, weakened from over 1f out
Anam Cairde led and disputed early, headed well before halfway, soon weakened
Eochair dwelt, always towards rear
Comadoir, a son of Alexander Goldrun’s half-brother Medecis out of a maiden Phone Trick mare, led two furlongs out until the winner arrived with her challenge. From the family of Galantas, placed in a Grade 1 in the US last year, he should improve from this display on a sounder surface.
Ah Joe raced prominently until dropping right out along with Midsummer Bond and Anam Cairde who both broke smartly, while Eaochair was slowly away and made little impression. [BF]
