I´m Supreme held up, ridden and steady progress from 13th, hit 14th, went 2nd approaching 4 out, led and hit 3 out, stayed on dourly, ridden out
Highland Chief in touch, hit 15th, soon ridden, went 3rd after 4 out, stayed on from next, went 2nd flat but no chance with winner
Absolut Power led, headed briefly 4th, clear 16th, soon ridden, headed approaching 3 out, held by winner from 2 out, lost 2nd flat
Classic Clover tracked leaders, left 2nd 4th, hit 14th and next, soon ridden, plugged on from 3 out
Mayeul mid-division, not fluent 11th, lost touch 16th, stayed on again from 3 out but never a danger
Autumn Red tracked leaders, mistake 10th, went 2nd after 15th until 4 out, soon ridden, faded from 3 out
Spanchil Hill always towards rear, tailed off and pulled up before 14th
Kinkeel took keen hold early, held up, lost touch from 12th, pulled up before 14th
Hydromatic never travelling in rear, hampered 6th, tailed off and pulled up before 8th
Dunbell Boy jumped badly right, soon behind, tailed off and pulled up before 8th
Nils Anderson mid-division, ridden after 14th, soon weakened, pulled up after 16th
Diamond Cutter prominent, just taken lead when not fluent and unseated rider 4th
Highland Chief had gone up 20lb for his two wins on this sort of ground; he is not one of his stable's leading lights.
Classic Clover made a couple of errors and could not get himself back into the race off this higher mark.
