Rajam made all, ridden approaching last, driven out

Gaora Lane always chasing winner, not fluent 10th, challenged 3 out, ridden and every chance after 2 out, not fluent last, one pace

Minella Tipperary raced keenly, always prominent, not fluent 10th, ridden and weakened after 3 out

Supreme Marque held up, reminders after 4th and approaching 7th, struggling when not fluent 8th (water), tailed off when blundered badly 2 out, pulled up before last

A steady early pace was quickened on the last circuit and jumping ultimately won the day for RAJAM in what developed into a match through the last 4f. Rajam was another to enjoy the changed ground with fast ground at Ludlow blamed for his tame effort. On the face of it, he has found more here on official figures but Gaora Lane did not help his cause with some novicey jumping, including at the last when just edging back at the winner, who had travelled all over him until finally coming under pressure off the home turn.
